WAREHOUSE PERSON/DELIVERY DRIVER – SURREY BRANCH

Sabre Industrial Supplies Ltd is a privately held corporation that has been serving clients in the lower mainland of B.C. since 1977. Sabre is a full service industrial supply company whose primary customer focus is: Institutional, MRO, Construction, Manufacturing and Marine markets. Its product groups include: bearings & power transmission, hand tools, power tools, fasteners, construction anchors, cutting tools, abrasives, adhesives and chemicals, material handling equipment, first aid & safety supplies and equipment, shop supplies, welding equipment and supplies and machine shop equipment.

Positions – Delivery Driver/Warehouse Person

Location – Surrey, B.C.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks as necessary, by hand and/or forklift

Package and unpackage cartons and skids as necessary

Assemble customer and internal orders as necessary

Put away incoming inventory

Answer phone calls from customers and branch staff as necessary

Drive Sabre delivery vans and trucks to make deliveries and pickups as necessary

Do pre-trip inspections on delivery vehicles

Qualifications

Valid British Columbia driver’s license

High school graduation or equivalent business experience

Good knowledge of streets in the lower mainland of British Columbia

Ability to lift and move 50-60# boxes

Valid forklift license would be an asset but we will train if not

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in a busy warehouse environment

Able to work independently, yet be a strong supporter of “The Team”
