The Opportunity - Remote with travel required.

The Technical Sales Representative will work towards the growth of sales and the presence of RAD East Torque Systems and RAD products in Northern Ontario / Abitibi QC and be a point of contact for the assigned region.
The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting with and informing current and new clients on RAD products and services.
Additional responsibilities will include the continued development of Rad East Torque Systems Inc’s outage and rental management programs for SAG and ball mill reline activities.
The ideal candidate will come with experience in the mining, heavy equipment and sales sector. They should have active listening skills, a compelling sales personality, and a drive to chase and close new business. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the ability to quickly learn the extensive knowledge on RAD products and effectively drive and meet sales targets. They must be bilingual in French and English.
The role is remote with preferences for location in one of the following cities or surrounding areas for travel purposes:
Ontario: Sudbury (including Lively and Val Therese), Timmins. Cochrane, Kirkland Lake, North Bay
Or
Quebec: La Sarre, Rouyn-Noranda, Malartic, Val D’Or, Abitibi
The Role and Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Promote RAD products by addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Be a subject matter expert on all past, current, and upcoming RAD products.
- Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increase the value of current customers.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
- Responsible for expansion of outage and rental programs to key mining accounts.
- Forecast, track and report key account metrics
- Collect and analyze data - prepare reports on accounts
- Keeps up to date and informed on market, industry, and regulatory issues.
Business Development
- Along side the Managing Director, set goals for the development of RAD East and its business growth and ensuring they are met.
- The expansion of both direct sales and distribution network across the assigned territory.
- Find and develop new markets and improving sales.
- Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Attend meetings, conferences and other events as required.
The Qualifications
- Technical / Business Diploma in a related field preferred.
- Additional sales related certifications are considered an asset.
- Familiarity with mine working practices and total safety compliance.
- Experience selling to the mining sector is considered an asset.
- Able to provide a proven sales record.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment and bolting solutions an asset.
- Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings for production intent an asset.
