Printing Press Operator Position is available currently.

Okanagan Label and Print is a locally owned and operated business in the South Okanagan city of Penticton. The land between two lakes has plenty to offer for those who enjoy outdoor activities, but also caters to those who enjoy the amenities of a city with the atmosphere of a small town.

Okanagan Label and Print is a family-orientated business manufacturing premium alcohol labels for many of the local wineries, but we also reach beyond borders to serve customers in the United States, Dominican Republic, and Panama.

We are searching for mechanically inclined press operators that are well experienced in the field.

Some of the duties include:

Following proper safety procedures

Ensuring workstation is organized

Mounting plates and foil/emboss dies

Mixing ink

Using your attention to detail to ensure the best possible label result

Differentiating colour and colour density

Verifying everything is to spec.

Communicating to the appropriate personnel about issues that arise and finding appropriate solutions to said issues

5 or more years of experience in offset printing is required to apply.

Relevant experience such as Flexo/Screen operators are welcomed. We will give you onsite training into our 6 colour UV offset wine label web presses.

Schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 11 pm to 7:30 am. Please apply if this shift will work for you.
