We're looking for an enthusiastic and focused Marketing Intern to work with our marketing staff on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in art or design and enjoys thinking creatively about ways to get the word out about our company's products. A successful candidate will be able to translate their creative ideas into marketing materials that can be used to increase our company's brand awareness and market share.
Responsibilities
- Managing 1-2 client social media portfolios
- Creating and implementing social media strategies designed to help these accounts find new ways to market their business.
- Creating and editing online content, including designing content, infographics, stories, promotional presentations, videos, and tutorials.
- Monitor social channels for trends and capitalize on those trends through our social accounts.
- Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics.
- Perform research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding their reach in the digital space.
- Assist with managing all social media channels by creating and curating content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, and Tik Tok.
- Develop and organize the company’s content calendar, ensuring all ideas and projects are completed on time
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and ideation
- Report all analytical data of the company’s performance on social media and the website to senior staff for better integration and implementation of strategic marketing practices that will help grow the brand
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
Qualifications
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience with Canva and Capcut
- Experience with Google Suite ( Sheets, Docx and Slide)
- Experience with Meta BusinessSuite
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program that is focused on marketing. Digital marketing is a plus.
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram and Google ads
Job Type: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 weeks
