The Opportunity:
Wayfinder is actively seeking a Logistics Planner who will be responsible for managing the transportation and logistics of proppants. Additionally, this role involves closely collaborating with clients and vendors to meet their requirements and deliver exceptional service. The key duties include coordinating and managing all aspects of trucking and logistics, as well as ensuring smooth communication with all involved parties daily. Another crucial aspect of this position is conducting meetings with clients, key sand supply personnel, forecasting demand, and reconciling inventory to ensure efficient operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating trucking & logistics for proppant
- Communicating daily activities with dispatchers, transloads, and production facilities
- Conduct daily meetings with key clients and vendors
- Forecasting demand and reconcile inventory
- Plan with onsite personnel to ensure production and sand supply meet onsite requirements
- Reconcile and approve vendor invoices and issue purchase orders
- Daily plant performance monitoring
- Troubleshooting issues as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree or Technical Diploma
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Oil and gas experience is preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, experience with schedule software
- Documentation and data management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication

Job Type:
- Position based in Calgary
- Full-time, permanent
- Extended hours and off-hour contact may be required to interact with team members, clients, and suppliers
- Travel (5%) will be required to production facility located at Glenevis, Alberta
