Job Title: Healthcare Researcher

About us:

Canurta is a preclinical biotechnology company pioneering the production of effective and novel polyphenol-rich ingredients and products to support prevention and recovery across a spectrum of indications for humans and animals in the food, wellness and biopharma sectors. Canurta is the patent-holder of multiple processes which enable the production of rare, non-cannabinoid, non-psychoactive polyphenols derived from hemp, which are scientifically proven to target and inhibit inflammation and other mediators of disease at their source.

Description

The Healthcare Researcher will be responsible for conducting literature searches on specified topics, analyzing data and writing well-documented reports on research findings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on specified topics and maintain a citation database
• Collect and analyze data and information, drawing relevant conclusions and writing reports
• Participate in group meetings with other researchers and support staff
• Review and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
• Maintain accurate records safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
• Perform other tasks as required

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or currently enrolled in post-secondary education in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Knowledge of statistics and statistical software to interpret experimental results
• Excellent organizational, teamwork and time management skills
• Ability to critically evaluate sources
