PermaCorp is an aluminum railings manufacturer in London, Ontario. We currently have opportunities for energetic, hardworking individual to lead our Installations Team as Installation Coordinator.

The Installation Coordinator exceeds customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality installations and service every time; this position will work closely with installation and production teams in helping achieve the Company’s goals. This position is best suited to very versatile people that know their way around equipment and most hand tools, are organized and can work in a time-sensitive manner, can read metric and imperial tape measures, are self-starters with a can-do attitude. Must be physically fit, as the job requires many different areas to work in, and some require moving material.

Full-time position (Monday to Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm) with overtime available.

· Responsible for scheduling in-house installers and subcontract installers

· Provide day to day updates to the project manager on status, with timeline

· Identify resources and manpower needed for current and upcoming work

· Manage maintenance requests/schedule for equipment used by the installers (safety equipment, trucks, etc)

· Ensure accountability of the installation crews

· Complete pre-departure trucks/trailer inspection to ensure that the crew is supplied with proper tools and materials.

· Through general instruction, assign and supervise the crew with tasks associated with railings installation.

· Ensure instructions, drawings and/or specifications are interpreted and followed correctly.

· Properly instruct and supervise the crew regarding safety and appropriate operation of equipment and supplies while on the job site.

· Participate in the safe installation of various types of railing products.

· Maintain order and professionalism of installers and respond immediately to employee issues and customer needs. Provide supervisor with regular updates as needed and report all incidents to the appropriate supervisor immediately.

· Complete all administrative tasks as assigned; including, but not limited to completing disciplinary action when needed and completing weekly assessments on your crew members.

· Complete Job Hazard Assessments for worksite.

· Conduct weekly toolbox meetings with installation team.

· Assist HSE with safety investigations as required.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5+ years’ experience managing on-site installation crews at multiple sites

· Excellent ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

· Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Proactive problem solver
