Senior Accountant - Contract (Remote)

Length of assignment : 6-9 months or upon completion of project; may lead to a full time position

Location: remote (US)

Days/Hours : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

What is needed to be successful in this position:
Exposure to US GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards Specific)
Experience with IFRS 16 Leases is a plus
We need someone that has a multiskilled background and hands-on experience some of these items: leading closing processes including accrual, reconciliation, implementations, analysis of accounts, prepare cash flows, month end closing activities
Strong analytical skills and able to research and reconcile big sets of data
Excellent Excel skills (combining large data sets, pivots tables, index/match, v-lookups)
Some experience with SAP or another ERP to include training, implementation, and execution
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
Strong project and people management skills
Detail-oriented, team player, curious, self-driven

Education and Experience:
BA degree + 3 years’ experience, or
AA degree + 5 years' experience, or
8 years' experience in relevant position to include a variety of accounting responsibilities
