Wanted: Travel-Savvy Customer Service Pros for Seasonal Work!

Looking for a great summer job or to get your foot in the door? Help folks make their Atlantic Canadian summer plans perfect! As a Reservation Agent, you’ll be helping people book their long-awaited summer travel between New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and PEI, on our client’s network of Ferry Boats.

If you’re the one your friends rely on to plan and organize trips – right down to itineraries and spreadsheets – and nothing quite brings you joy like a perfectly-executed agenda, we’re looking for you! You’ll also need to be dedicated to providing a great customer experience, inquisitive, a great multi-tasker, and comfortable learning new systems.

Here’s The Deal:

• Full-time seasonal positions starting April 20th, May 9th and June 7th 2023!
• This is a seasonal position until late August 2023 with the possibility of extension or transfer to one of our year-round permanent positions.
• You must be fluent in both French and English
• You must be available to work full time (37.5 hour/week) with rotational 8-hour shifts between 8:00am to 11:00pm; Sunday to Saturday. This means your schedule will include nights and weekends.
• If you are a student or looking for Part-Time employment – you’ll need to be able to commit to full time training (40 hours over 5 days) to be considered. We unfortunately are not able to support part-time training at this time.
• Starting Bilingual hourly rate is $19.00/hr

What You'll Do:

• As a Bilingual Agent you’ll provide telephone support for a broad range of customers in both French and English
• Quickly and effectively assess and resolve challenging situations following well-defined guidelines and procedures.
• Deliver a superior service experience by being attentive and providing information/solutions to their concerns.
• Be an ambassador for the Maritime provinces in each interaction.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Great customer service skills with the ability to manage customer expectations, establishing credibility and rapport with customers.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to support upset customers while demonstrating patience and empathy.
• A collaborative "what-ever it takes" attitude and strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and efficient computer navigation skills.
• Tourism experience or education is a strong asset. Ideally you are passionate and proud of what the Maritimes has to offer.
