L.H. Gray & Son Limited, better known as Gray Ridge Eggs in Ontario, began in 1934 in Ridgetown, Ontario by Lyle and Ina Gray.

Today, their son, Bill Gray carries on the family tradition. Gray Ridge Egg Farms is one of the largest processors of farm fresh eggs in Ontario and is proud to display the Foodland Ontario logo on its products.

• Ensure that the skids being used are in good quality condition.
• Stack and secure boxes/wire baskets of finished product in a neat and safe manner.
• Inspect case labelling and codes to ensure they are accurate and legible.
• Check for damaged product from the packing area, pick out damaged product and replace it.
• Keep Machine Operators and Supervisors informed of specific quantities of product.
• Ensure that floor surfaces are clean and free of broken eggs.
• Break down baskets for packers. When doing this task you must inspect, remove and set aside all damaged baskets. Do not drop baskets on cement floor while separating.
• Remove dirty supplies from the grading machine and load them onto the tray/skid washer or stack them for washing later.
• Operation of the supply washers by loading and/or unloading supplies and attending to errors and jams.
• Stack skids of dirt or clean supplies in a neat and orderly manner, separating colours and styles. Remove broken and damage trays from the supply stream.
• Remove full containers of broken eggs and replacing with empty containers regularly.
• Collect rewashed eggs and returning to the ungraded egg cooler.
• Keep cooler organized and ensuring that eggs remain in their producer groupings.
• Clean up barrels and totes at end of each shift.
• Properly sanitize all washable supplies, including carts, plastic skids, dividers and trays.
• Load correct amount of clean trays onto carts and skids and place in proper location as specified be supervisor.
