The Box Office Ticket Seller is responsible for selling tickets to events at the Sanderson Centre and helping patrons both on the phone and in person at the Box Office. The Ticket Seller is also responsible for answering questions and providing information to patrons regarding performances and things to do in the area. The position effectively gathers information and inputs into the computer system: time of sale, address, and other data. The position participates in general office duties such as filing, typing, and administers customer service, provides general information for upcoming shows, receives customer complaints and assists with special needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Provide superior customer service
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
• Excellent telephone manner is essential
• Previous experience as a Cashier and/or knowledge of ticketing systems is a an asset
• As a condition of employment, applicants must submit a current Police Information Check (dated within the past 3 months) from their local police service for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment
• A current Standard First Aid with a level "C" CPR certification would be an asset
• Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
