Eco360 is the Solid Waste Division of the Southeast Regional Service Commission and is dedicated to managing waste in Southeastern NB in an environmentally, socially, and fiscally responsible way. As part of the Eco360 team, you will have the opportunity to work on new, exciting, and meaningful projects while providing valuable information and education to residents of Southeastern NB.

As our Social Media & Engagement Coordinatoryou will be a member of Eco360’s Communications Team and report to the Communications and Marketing Manager. Your primary role is to support the development and implementation of social media and digital strategies that will grow and effectively engage Eco360’s audiences and communities. You will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and posting content and engaging with Eco360’s social media audience. You will be the first point of contact for residents engaging through social channels and will therefore be responsible for maintaining Eco360’s brand and developing a strong relationship with these residents. You will also support the Team through organizing and participating in other public engagement activities like community events, tours, presentations, trade-shows, etc.

Job Duties: · Content creation and social media management. Develop, package and schedule engaging content for residents.· Develop and maintain a high brand profile in the community through social media and in-person engagement activities like community events, tours, presentations, trade-shows, etc.· Proactively engage with online communities to build relationships with residents using Eco360’s brand voice and tone as well as respond to comments, questions, and requests.· Support the delivery of the organization's integrated marketing, communications and engagement strategy and aid in the development and delivery of communications and marketing initiatives. Monitor social media performance, report on progress, and recommend creative solutions to achieving goals.

Essential Qualifications:

· Bachelors and/or Diploma: A related degree relevant to the essential functions of this job.· A minimum of 4+ years of social media community management or performing substantially similar job functions.· Experience developing strategic and multimedia-based communications.· Experience in public engagement and education including campaign and event planning and support.· Knowledge of best practices and ability to remain up to date on future trends in digital technologies and proactively provide strategic recommendations for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.· Eagerness to build and grow Eco360’s brand and relationship with our community.· Allow for a flexible schedule to accommodate social media requirements.· Advanced oral proficiency in English and French and comfort in both languages.· Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.· Valid Driver’s License.· Available to work weekends, evenings, and outdoors when required.

Assets: · Knowledge of, or experience with the Regional Service Commission model.· Ability to communicate effectively in a specific brand voice and tone.· Ability to edit photographs and videos for social media engagement.· Strong writing proficiency in English and French.· Experience with Adobe Products including Photoshop & Illustrator.· Experience with social media management tools and software.· Experience writing engaging and relevant content for a variety of audiences and communications channels.· A proven track record in delivering a superior customer service experience.

Salary: Salary commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-Time, permanent

Work Schedule: Thirty-five (35) hours per week
