Showroom Manager Job at WindowWorks

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Showroom Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, taking payments, selling blinds, helping customers choose fabrics for their projects, scheduling appointments, and keeping the showroom tidy. The successful candidate should also have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and other office software. The Showroom Manager should be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills and a passion for sales. There are lots of opportunities for growth and learning in this position as we are looking for someone who can grow with us and take on additional responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they enter the showroom and provide them with excellent customer service
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
  • Process customer payments and ensure all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Sell blinds and other window treatments to customers
  • Help customers choose fabrics for their projects and provide advice on design and color coordination
  • Schedule appointments for consultations and installations
  • Ensure the showroom is tidy and well-organized at all times
  • Use Excel and other office software to perform administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
  • Explore new sales opportunities and strategies
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Experience in sales or a related field is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient with Excel and other office software
