Commissionaires – Northern Alberta Division is currently seeking exceptional security personnel to be employed at various sites in the City of Edmonton on a WEEKEND SHIFT schedule. Applicants will be required to have open availability to work different sites with a mix of day or night shifts.

Applicants must be available to work from Friday afternoon/evening to Monday morning.

Applicants will be assigned permanent sites based on site availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have an Alberta Security License or be willing to obtain.
• Capability to work a full time shift schedule listed above
• Ability to handle a dynamic environment
• Represent the Commissionaires with a high level of professionalism and customer service skills, as well as effective communication skills in dealing with clients, emergency personnel, and the public
• Ability to work under pressure, and make sound decisions in emergency situations
• Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions including writing comprehensive reports

Essential Job Functions:

• Writing detailed and accurate reports regarding all incidents
• Providing a high degree of customer service in a dynamic and challenging environment
• Ability to de-escalate situations that may arise and liaise with emergency personnel; provide support
• Capability to complete patrols
• Capability to work a weekend shift schedule.
