Staffmax is pleased to assist our Freight client with finding an Account Manager/Sales work from Home in the_ Calgary area_ to develop sales in the area and in-person meetings

• Commission and base pay

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage existing customer base while continuing to explore new opportunities for growth based on each customer’s needs
• Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline of potential customers to generate new revenue via prospecting, networking, cold calling, and referral activities
• Attend conferences, customer visits, site visits
• Negotiate contracts with customers and carriers
• Collaborate with the varying Operation teams to identify the best plan of execution
• Provide impeccable personalized service to all VFS customers
• Exceed clients’ expectations with a solution-driven approach
• Maintain KPI metrics (i.e. Customer Development, Profitability, Market Penetration)

Qualifications/ Assets:

• Post-secondary education in related field is an asset
• Industry experience is an asset
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Doc’s and Outlook
• Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
