Position Purpose and Objectives

The Total Rewards and HRIS Centre of Excellence is focused on bringing efficiency and value to the business through improving HR operations, analytics, reporting, and rewards structures, globally. The Total Rewards Analyst is a key member of the Total Rewards team helping to support the planning, development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of total rewards programs that support the DNEG’s global pay philosophy and objectives. This is a great opportunity to be exposed to a variety of projects and challenges faced by the COE and develop knowledge and skills in all aspects of Total Rewards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support global total rewards activities across various locations and regions including Canada, USA, Europe, India, and Australia
  • Act as a point of contact for compensation-related queries and requests to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
  • Implement process improvements to enhance administration efficiency and work with the HRIS team to define, scope, and deliver automation where possible
  • Participate in compensation and other total rewards-related surveys, partnering with other members of the HR and Total Rewards team to submit and analyze results
  • Support the annual salary and variable pay plan processes, including annual compensation planning and budgeting, annual pay review process, regular and ad-hoc reporting, annual bonus plan administration and awards, and other total rewards processes, as needed
  • Maintain DNEG’s comprehensive job catalog, reviewing new requests and supporting with job evaluation, and creating new job profiles in Workday as required
  • Maintain the department’s related intranet pages and shared drive; update pages and maintain documents as needed
  • Provide backfill absence support, when needed, to the Benefits Coordinator
  • Ad-hoc tasks, as required, based on individual and project needs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) skills
  • Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking, or other HR-related software (Workday would be an asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); able to communicate technical concepts with ease, exercising tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity, to an audience at all levels
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to shift priorities quickly. Willing to shift hours, as needed, to accommodate global meetings in other time zones.
