Aero Trading’s Port Edward BC Plant is now accepting applications for the Full-Time position of Refrigeration Engineer/Mechanic for its Plant operations in Port Edward BC. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will be part of a progressive team, working on a predetermined schedule and safely operating and maintaining the Refrigeration Equipment in accordance with the Act and Regulations governing Refrigeration Facilities in BC. The Refrigeration Engineer position requires the individual to be comfortable working with ammonia systems; and able to complete tasks independently.

Qualifications and responsibilities but not limited to:

Class 5 or 4 power engineer ticket with Refrigeration experience

• A good working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, general facility repairs
• Maintaining and repairing equipment, property, and general building and preventative maintenance
• Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks and projects assigned
• Inspections of facility equipment for safety hazards: repairing and maintaining as necessary
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Preform other duties as assigned or directed

All eligible candidates will be required to possess a minimum Power Engineer class 5 or class 4 with refrigerant work-related technical experience. Salary will be depending on experience and a Full Benefits package available. Interested...
