Revolution Gymnastics & Sports Centre is looking for positive, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our coaching team for the upcoming 2022/2023 season.

Located in beautiful Waterloo, Ontario, our club offers a fully equipped state of the art 12,000 square foot, air-conditioned facility under private management.

Our recreational coaches can expect to work in a positive, supported environment where the number one priority is member safety while working in an athlete driven learning model.

Following Available Positions:

Recreational Coach
Advanced / Excel Coach

Requirements and Qualifications:

• NCCP Gymnastics Foundations Certification (or willingness to attain)
• Foundations Trampoline (or willingness to attain)
• Certified in Standard First Aid (or willingness to attain)

Candidate must also have completed or be willing to complete the following online learning:

• Safe Sport Certification - https://safesport.coach.ca/participants-training
• Respect in Sport Certification - https://www.respectgroupinc.com/respect-in-sport/
• Making Head Way Certification - https://coach.ca/concussion-awareness

Please note: All successful candidates must also provide a Vulnerable Sector Background Check

Preferred candidates will have the following skill set:

• Organized / Punctual / Responsible / Internally motivated / Reliable / Team worker

Self starter / Problem solver / Great communication skills / Pleasant and positive demeanor / Enjoys working with children

• Previous experience coaching Recreational gymnastics classes is an asset but not required

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 2-20 per week

Salary: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evenings
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• NCCP Level 1 (required)
