Qualifications:

• enjoy working with children, especially children with learning challenges
• have teaching or tutoring experience
• be very comfortable with using online teaching apps and tech
• have an eagerness to learn new approaches/methods
• have post-secondary education or training
• have excellent grammar and spelling
• have use of a vehicle
• be able to teach BOTH online AND in person

Tutors with the following experience and background are encouraged to apply:

• Orton Gillingham training and or certification
• Degree or working on a degree in Linguistics, Education, TESL
• Work experience as a Special Education Assistant
• BC teacher cerification
• Five or more years as a homeschool parent

We are looking for tutors who can join our team of 30+ tutors from the Vancouver, Tri-Cities, Ridge Meadows, Surrey, Langley, and Fraser Valley Area. We specialize in reading; however, some of our tutors also teach math and writing. Some training in phonics may be provided for the right candidates.
