What you’ll be doing

Our engineering team is dedicated to providing functional solutions for students around the world, no matter what type of device they have - smartphones, desktops, Chromebooks, or even crypto mining rigs with 4090s. As a member of the product development team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, Develop and Scale a game platform as well as multiplayer and social features
• Model problems, design, write, test, and release code to solve them.
• Take ownership of large parts of our engineering solution.
• Collaborate with your peers through code reviews to improve your own skills, provide effective feedback, and achieve higher quality code.
• Contribute to open source projects. We are passionate about open source and love giving back to the community whenever possible.

We use technology that is best suited for solving problems for our learners. Currently, we work with Angular, C#, NodeJS, and MS SQL Server, and we are always open to adopting new technologies if they can help us achieve our goals. At Knowledgehook, we believe that we never stop learning, so don’t worry if you’re not familiar with the above list! If you understand Bubble Sort but would question implementing it then you’ve come to the right place.

What you need to succeed

• At least seven years of developmental SaaS experience
• Expert level knowledge of NodeJS and TypeScript
• Experience with Angular or React
• Proficiency with modern SQL
• Familiarity with Websockets and realtime server applications
• Being part of a mission driven company, we seek individuals who have an adaptable mindset and are open to embracing new opportunities that allow them to learn, grow and collaborate in areas of business that may sometimes be outside of their defined role.

• Game development experience; on-premise server management
• An outstanding track record of delivering results
• Familiarity using effective product development processes
