Job Description

We are looking for freelance photographers and assistants in KANATA, ONTARIO who want to join the company on an hourly basis, as a way to supplement their income with additional photographic and assistant work.

If you would like to have a great time in the early summer as a photographer or assistant, Mementos Photography is looking for someone like you.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Photograph or coordinate sessions with children, parents, and teams.

Qualifications and Skills

Be comfortable around children.
Have high communication skills.
Have photography experience (Photographers)
Studio lighting knowledge (Photographers)
Availability to work in the late afternoons and evenings.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Work well both independently and in a team
Be punctual and highly reliable
Be willing to follow instructions and the company’s creative standards
Willingness to act as a key contributor in a fast-paced business
Photography problem-solving skills (Photographers)

Requirements

Vehicle or transportation (This project will be in the Kanata and Stittsville area)
Availability to work evenings, by the hour, starting the last week of May and throughout June and first week of July (4:30pm to 7:30pm Monday to Thursday).
Hours vary, some weekend hours also available
Satisfactory Criminal Records Check
Photographic equipment is not mandatory. Photographers with their own gear will receive a higher pay. Let us know what equipment you have and we will assign you suitable projects.

We offer:

Hourly wage.
PS: Our hourly wage depends on position, experience, availability and gear.
