Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the Payroll Coordinator will be part of a team of 5 teammates that are responsible to produce payroll for 5,000 employees across Canada for both unionized and non-unionized employees. Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the Payroll Coordinator will be part of a team of 5 teammates that are responsible to produce payroll for 5,000 employees across Canada for both unionized and non-unionized employees.
In this role, you will:
Collect useful information for payroll production every 2 weeks (hires, transfers, terminations, salary and status changes, etc.).- Complete the payroll cycle every 2 weeks
- Produce and submit record of employment electronically to Service Canada.
- Produce and update various reports following Government requests
- Answer questions from employees of our 12 centers across Canada.
To get this job you need:
Be familiar with the ADP Workforce Now (payroll system)- Attentive about work and detail oriented
- Analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, in English and French.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a payroll service
- Essential: Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (intermediate or advance level).
- Course of the Canadian Payroll Association
- Demonstrate a passion for results

Work location: Nordia Laval. Training will be done full time on site then 2 days at work and 3 days at home.
