Job Summary
We are seeking General Foreman Heavy Duty Mechanics for our Kitimat site located in British Columbia. The successful candidates will be responsible managing personnel while effectively supporting clients needs.
Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work while simultaneously demonstrating the company's core values and commitment to safety.
- Ensuring that all work is completed in a safe and effective manner which aligns with provincial and client enforced standards and regulations.
- Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and driving optimal operational performance.
- Supervise and conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets client expectations.
Job Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset
- Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills required.
- Good analytical ability and manual dexterity.
- Successful candidates are required to have valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
Trade Qualifications
- Journeyperson certification from a recognized provincial training authority preferred
Position Information
- Located in Kitimat, BC
- Night Shift Position with an additional hourly premium!
- Rotation is 14/7 and 20/8 (Eastern Provinces Only)
- Transportation from designated pick-up locations to site for local residents is provided
- Charter flights from Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Prince George, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Halifax and St. John's
- Camp accommodations in an executive camp provided
- Additional 12% project incentive paid WEEKLY to all employees!
