Chapman Motors Ltd is a small family-run business with 3 locations: Cobble Hill, Nanaimo and Victoria. Our Cobble Hill location includes our used parts yard along with a 3 service bay shop and our parts counter. We are a thriving parts, service and used car sales shop specializing in Volvo and Subaru automobiles. Our goal is to recruit an employee that is versitile and is looking for long-term employment with on-the-job training and potential for growth.

Chapman Motors Ltd. is looking to hire a parts counter person who is adaptable and able to help with several roles within the company.

The ideal candidate will assist with many customer service related aspects of our business. Their primary responsibilities will be answering phones; inventory entry; assisting customers with parts orders; packaging and shipping items; along with scheduling customer's vehicles for appointments. To be successful in this role attention to detail, accuracy, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are required.

Experience in customer service, shipping/receiving or the automotive industry would be an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Preference will be given to those applicants who express an interest in, or have experience with, some aspect of bookkeeping such as balancing a cheque book, reconciling a bank statement or end of day cash handling/reporting.

This position offers on-going growth and day-to-day job versatility in an informal work setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
