GENERAL

• Straight Night Shift position
• Hours may vary in order to meet the job requirement
• Weekend work will be required based upon production requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set-up and tear-down of equipment for each days scheduled production while following all safety procedures, including LOTO
• Must ensure all formulations have been as per the recipe
• Uses SAP IGel station to transact consumption of ingredients and fillings towards to process orders
• Assist in daily housekeeping duties
• Must be able to trouble shoot and identify mechanical problems
• Report any shortages, downtime and/or production issues to supervision in a timely manner
• Will be required to follow job rotation to ergonomic purposes
• Maintains a high standard of Health and Safety, strictly adheres to Health & Safety SOPs
• Complies with Safety regulations as stated within the Health & Safety Act
• Breakdown and remove packaging
• Think about inventory accuracy within their control
• Assume other duties deemed necessary by the Company

FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Maintains a high standard of Quality and Food Safety, strictly follows Company Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures
• Must comply with all GMP (General Manufacturing Practices) and understand the importance of Food Safety as the key priority in our business.
• Actively maintains good housekeeping of the work areas.
• Actively observes and maintains the expected product quality.
• Measures and monitors checks pertaining to the Company’s Pre-requisite Program, reliably and accurately.
• Adheres to SOPs pertaining to Quality & Food Safety
• Responsible for completing all production and QA paperwork with clear hand writing and reporting pertaining to the job
• Monitoring food safety and quality to ensure they meet product specifications during production and communicating any concerns to the Supervisor and QA team
• Will be required to do quality checks and equipment monitoring daily and ensure weight targets are met
• Will be required to champion daily housekeeping duties in their area

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be very flexible, be a team player, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must have excellent work ethics and attendance record
• Knowledge of WHMIS is required
• Will be required to perform physically demanding work
• Must have a mechanical aptitude
• Will be required to work in a cold environment
• Must have good command of the English language
• Must have good communication skills
• Contribute to a safe working environment
