Manager, Digital Production Job at 360insights
The Manager, Digital Production reports directly to the Senior Manager, Marketing within the Program Engagement Team. Their core responsibility is to lead and develop the digital marketing production team and process to ensure the customer experience is at the forefront of everything we execute.
This person will work closely with numerous internal stakeholders, vendor partners and Clients and will be charged with executing multiple deliverables against aggressive schedules. This role will also oversee and manage appropriate third-party vendors and resources required to meet business objectives (e.g. email marketing tools, analytics and monitoring platforms etc). The Manager, Digital Production will also key play a role at the leadership level on the Program Engagement Team, helping to shape process and evolve the team structure to suit the growing needs of our Clients and the rest of the PE team.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Digital Production Specialists
- Comfortable “rolling up their sleeves” to execute as we grow this nimble team
- Identify and advocate for Team growth, structure, and processes to meet the goals of the Program Engagement Team, and 360insights
- Contribute to the identification of PE Team Goals and Roadmap
- Support the management and development of digital and email marketing production, ensuring delivery against client and internal deadlines
- Leaise with other teams & departments at 360insights to help ensure we’re able to grow, scale and automate our digital solutions where necessary
- Collaborate with all stakeholders, internal and external to ensure success during campaign launch through to completion
- Relationship ownership with key partners and vendors
- Participate in broader team meetings and project/client meetings as needed
- Work closely with counterparts on the Marketing Management and Creative teams to help streamline processes and provide frictionless, consistent customer experiences
- Review digital campaigns such as email, SMS and web page to ensure they are aligned with brand standards and are consistent across all channels and messaging
- Provide and manage post-campaign and ongoing performance reports (email, SMS, web page etc.)
- Bring new ideas for design, content creation, and processes to the team using your expertise and knowledge of digital development regulations and best practices
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our digital marketing capabilities, and comfortable discussing solutions and best practices with internal and external stakeholders
- Stay on top of digital trends – teach and share wherever possible
- Provide ongoing KPI reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing as required
- Ensure adherence to 360 Policy, manage escalations, and provide accurate ETAs when needed
Experience/Knowledge Required
- At least 5 years’ experience managing digital production-related projects and deliverables
- Experience working with partners such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mobiniti etc.
- Minimum 2 years managing direct reports
- Experience building and managing a growing Marketing Tech Stack focused on automation and 1:1 marketing, with a working knowledge in martech and tech stack integration (such as website, CMS, database email deployment tool integration)
- Keen design eye & basic creative/art direction skills
- Experience with digital UX processes
- Good understanding of digital production and marketing strategies, innovative digital campaign and effective service delivery
- Expert in digital marketing best practices, industry processes and guidelines
- Proficiency in Email Deployment software (such as HubSpot or DotDigital), SMS deployment software (such as Mobiniti)
- Knowledge and experience in the management of a website (ability to load content, tag/upload images, insert titles, include links, embed videos)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliverables
- Strong networking, management and interpersonal skills
- Experience with CSS, HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and / or Adobe XD is an added advantage
- Email Marketing Certification is an added advantage
