Position: Maintenance Assistant
Contract: 8 weeks
Hours: 35 hours per week
Rate of pay: $15.50 per hour
Location: Petrolia, Ontario
Essential Duties:
The successful candidate will be an adaptable and hardworking individual who will be responsible completing assigned maintenance tasks. The candidate is expected to perform minor adjustments and repairs as directed, routine maintenance jobs such as painting, dry wall repair and vehicle detailing. May assist with building inspections with support of supervisor. Responsibilities may also including moving furniture, equipment and supplies and/or performing grounds maintenance. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications based on the funding requirements:
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada
Additional qualifications:
- Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle
- Willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Documentation of COVID-19 Vaccination
