Ondine Biomedical is rapidly growing and is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team!

✨ Do you have…

  • Post-secondary degree in finance or accounting
  • Accounting experience is a bonus, but not required. Co-op / internship experience is preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Excel, Office and PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Started or are considering enrolling in the CPA program.

  • Assist with month-end close processes; booking journal entries, accruals, and providing appropriate detail-level support and analysis
  • Accurately prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain prepaids, accrued liabilities and fixed asset schedules
  • Prepare variance analysis on the balance sheet and profit and loss statements
  • Assist on the half year review, annual audit, and tax filings for corporate and sales taxes
  • Provide accounting support to business operations, assist with process improvements, and perform other duties as assigned
  • Support and respond to cross-functional teams as accounting questions arise
  • Assist on ad hoc projects and duties in the finance department
