Position Summary

We are looking for an Jr. RF Designer/ Data Analyst to help us manage various design requisitions from all sorts of organizations in North America, spanning In-Building Wireless Solutions, Distributed Antenna Solutions, Wi-Fi, Public Safety solutions and beyond.

The RF Designer/ Data Analyst will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and reports of RF coverage inside public and private buildings
• RF propagation modeling with iBwave software
• Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
• Submitting project deliverables and ensuring they adhere to quality standards
• Working closely with other Engineering and Operations team members related to in- building projects and provide support where required
• Optimizations and adjustments of new in-building systems to meet design criteria
• Data collection, creation, maintenance, and management
• Conducting analytics and developing solutions
• Troubleshooting of existing systems
• Development and maintenance of data automation software and tools
• Provide support to end users in a range of software applications and tools
• Updating and reporting project status
• Other tasks as required

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. RF Designer duties (as above) - 45%

2. Data Analyst duties (as above) - 40%

3. Software support/development (as above) - 10%

4. Project meetings as needed - 5%

Knowledge Requirements

• Currently enrolled on a full time basis in a post-secondary program in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Urban Planning, Data Analytics or related program
• Ability to use basic office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook/email
• Knowledge of iBwave platforms, PCTel IBFLEX platforms, Ekahau platforms
• Knowledge of databases including data modelling, data integration, ETL, and data access tools

Special Skills/Training/Licenses or Certifications

• Must have completed one full academic year of studies in previously mentioned areas of study
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork focus
• Innovative and open-minded to new techniques and technologies
• Attitude-focused on team success and improving the customer experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Driven, results-oriented with the ability to complete tasks and achieve completion of deadlines
• Valid graduated driver's license (G minimum) in good standing

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
