Currently, we are assisting our client in the Bolton area with their search for an experienced mechanic. This is a full time, permanent position for a leading size reduction equipment company in North America. The successful candidate will be eager, willing to learn and grow, and have a great work ethic leading to great performance. There is opportunity for growth. Candidates must have previous mechanic experience.
Responsibilities Include:
· Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
· Able to work with accuracy (i.e. measurements and cuts for parts assembly)
· Ability to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings
· Building granulators
· Assembling grinders
· Making electrical panels
· Electrical wiring, hydraulics
Qualifications:
· Must have at least 2 to 3 years of mechanical experience with wiring, hydraulics and shop tools
· Must have experience with hand tools, grinders, etc.
· Maintaining a good attitude and ensure safe procedures
· Steel-toed boots are required
· Work full-time – Monday to Friday
· Must have own car
