Nous travaillons actuellement avec notre client principal pour compléter un vaste programme d’exploration minière dans les environs de Val d’Or. Ce projet continuera jusqu’à la fin 2022 avec le potentiel de se prolonger en 2023.

Nous cherchons à combler plusieurs postes, soit : géologues de tout niveau, géotechniciens, manouvre journalière et étudiants. Tous ces rôles sont contractuels et bénéficieront d’une rémunération très compétitive.

Les candidats retenus auront une combination des compétences suivantes :

- Posséder une forte capacité à travailler en équipe avec une attitude positive;

- Avoir une bonne capacité d’adaptation et un sens aiguisé de l’organisation;

- Être prêt à travailler en milieux éloigné, et êtres loin de la maison durant plusieurs semaines.

- Physiquement en forme, capable de transporter jusqu’à 50lbs et de se déplacer en milieu sauvage durant plusieurs heures

- Avoir un intérêt et des habilitées de base pour la mécanique et la construction

- Avoir la capacité de cuisiner

- Avoir un diplôme postsecondaire dans le domaine du génie, de la géologie, ou dans un domaine connexe est un atout

- La maitrise de la langue française et anglaise est un atout

- Être membre de l’Ordre des géologues ou de l’Ordre des ingénieurs est un atout

Laurentienne Scientifique is a geoscience consulting company currently assisting multiple clients with mineral exploration and engineering programs throughout Canada, particularly in Quebec and British Columbia.

We are currently assisting our main client with a large mineral exploration drill program near Val d'Or which will keep us very busy until the end of 2022, possibly into 2023.

We are currently filling multiple positions for senior, intermediate, and junior geologist roles. As well as geotechnician, student, and labourer roles. These are high paying contract positions.

Ideal candidates will have some combination of the below listed attributes:

- team player with a positive attitude

- hard working

- not afraid to get their hands dirty and spend lengthy periods of time away from home, possibly in the bush

- able bodied, able to hike through the wilderness and carry up to 50lbs

- mechanically inclined

- ability to cook

- organized

- fluency in English and French considered an asset

- post secondary education in geology, mining, engineering, or related field considered and asset

- registration as GIT/EIT/P.Geo./P.Eng. considered an asset.
