General Laborer Job at Waste Connections of Canada
Waste Connections is looking for a General Labourer to join our team at our Hamilton District to work at our Transfer station in Hamilton, ON. This is an entry level full time position with a reputable company.
This location is not transit friendly. Candidates must have reliable means of transportation.
Location: Kenora, Dundas, or The Mountain Transfer Station Sites
Pay rate: $17.23 per hour plus qualify for a $175 per month safety and attendance bonus!
Hours: 4, 10 hour shifts per week
Responsibilities Include:
- Directing traffic onsite
- Guiding the general public and offering direction
- Keeping the area clean
- Some sorting of materials
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of general labour work experience
- The ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
- Be able to pass our background checks (Drug and Criminal check)
