Parsec Intermodal of Canada is a diversified, safety oriented, specialized rail services contractor with operations throughout North America. We provide custom service solutions to railway operators who wish to outsource mission-critical activities. We are currently looking for applicants to fill the positions as a general laborer in our Pitt Meadows BC operation where we operate for Canadian Pacific Rail.

Duties Include:

• Placing and removing IBC'S in the corner castings of rail containers. (Approx 10lbs each)
• Must be able to lift, bend, reach/hold over head or extend arm to complete tasks.
• Must be able to hold good balance and climbing abilities.
• Must be able to walk on railcars to complete tasks.
• Working outdoors in inclement weather during 8-12 hours at a time.
• Availability of schedule changes due to early or late train arrivals.
• Hold and maintain a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to complete a pre employment Drug & Alcohol screening and Background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
