FYidoctors is looking to hire a full-time Data Analyst for our home office in Calgary, AB. Reporting to Team Lead Data Management, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing data in helping the organization make informed decisions.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Undertake data collection from multiple sources, data cleanup, data testing/verification/preparation for analysis
• Check and verify that overnight data load had completed successfully, collect stats
• Update and manage information in a web-based case management system
• Analyze and interpret collected data identifying any patterns in it to provide clarity
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications related to data modelling
• Create visualizations, including dashboards, flowcharts, and graphs using excel and other tools to relay business concepts through visuals
• Document existing data collection processes and environments from a functional perspective
• Promote knowledge sharing within the Data Management team and other support departments to ensure consistent process and delivery

As The Successful Candidate, You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or systems background, or equivalent
• 2 + years business experience supporting multi-application systems, reporting, and training.
• Minimum one year of direct experience with use of Business Intelligence software applications (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) at administrative level. Proficient in the use of Microsoft software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Data analysis and trending experience across various levels.
• Possess a deep understanding of reporting and analytics capabilities within data management systems.
• Stakeholder management and appropriate management of confidential information are essential.
• Experience Using Azure Environment, comfortable using Azure Data Factory Data Flows for ETL and ELT processes
• Knowledge of MDM and Data warehousing
• Third Party integration tools knowledge preferred (Boomi, Talent, etc.)
• Comfortable to participate in team decision making, provide recommendations
• Familiarity performing data analysis work against SAS systems and custom developed applications, as well as the integrations between them
• Ability to work at all levels with commercial and technical teams within the business
• Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, or e-Commerce systems is a definite asset
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written with the ability to present complex information in a user-friendly language to groups of various sizes
• Experience executing tasks within a fast paced and high-pressure environment
• Proven ability to critique assumptions, practices, and ways of operating and will generate ideas and solutions that create value and promote innovation, knowledge sharing and learning
