What Will You Do?

• Responsible to move trailers safely in and out of dock and shops.
• Organize trailer line-up.
• Check oil in reefer units plus other designated mechanical checks on trucks and trailers.
• Communicate with dock personnel, dispatch drivers and shop via two-way radio in a professional manner.
• Report mechanical defects on trucks and trailers immediately to shift supervisor.
• Perform reefer checks and fuel when required. Complete appropriate report and pass onto shop.
• Ensure yard is free of debris and empty garbage containers at fuel island and building entrance.
• Report all accidents or injuries immediately to supervisor.
• Ensure that all the paperwork required from your shift is completed and turned in for HACCP purposes (Washes).
• Cleaning the exteriors of Tractors, Straight Trucks, and Trailers. Cleaning and disinfecting and de-odorizing the interiors of Trailers and the Straight Truck boxes.
• All other duties as required.

Who Are We Looking For?

• AZ Licences is required.
• Able to operate power units safely and accurately.
• Ability to understand and comply with all company health & safety policies.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Attention to detail with accurate record keeping.
• Must be able to tolerate all types of weather.
