Description


The VP, Sales is an important role within the company to market, sell, implement, and deliver IMS products across the Americas ensuring they are addressing customer needs – everything from solution design, through to demo and contract signing before handing over to the Insurance Sales team.


This position is a vital component of the business, and is responsible for:


Market & Selling:

  • Pre-Sales/Solution Design: Define based on standard products & services the solution that addresses the customers’ needs including documentation and also agreement with IMS delivery organization
  • Bid/RFP Management: Accountable for delivery of all RFPs on time. Coordinating all functions that contribute include documentation, quality control, agreeing with products it's standard or customise
  • Contract management: Accountable to get prospects to customers by managing the negotiation of contracts up to the signature stage
  • Sales Operations: Accountable for keeping all new business information (SFDC pipeline, reporting, etc.) up-to-date at all times - managing all customer KPIs/customer outcomes and their reporting

Implementation:

  • Customer Implementation Project Management: Project manage every demo, pilot, and full production launch in NA for any solution including plan, RACI, reporting, governance, etc.
  • Testing: Manage all customer testing including scheduling, managing comms, etc.
  • Training: Manage the training of customers with solutions in the initial roll-out
  • Sensor Installations: Manage the right sensors that are available and deployed to the customer in alignment with the supply chain
  • Pilot Management: Full management of NA pilots from requirements to delivery and archiving at the end if required
  • Professional/Consulting Services: Accountable for delivery of all upsold/new services sold to existing customers delivering new services where required
  • Measuring customer and user outcomes

Requirements


We know you will have a wide skill set, but to thrive in this role we think you will need:


  • Substantial experience in marketing, selling, and implementing customer solutions
  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of success
  • Experience in the telematics/insurance industry is highly desirable

Additional Information:

  • Must be ok with travel in US and Canada for customers and home office visits
  • Occasional travel to the UK
