Position: Tactical Security Guard or Concierge Security Guard

Status: Part Time Permanent

Location: University and Front St

Pay Rate: Tactical Security-$21.00/hr, Concierge Security $17.17/hr

Shifts:

• Tactical Security Mon-Fri 0700-1500hrs
• Concierge Security Sat and Sun 1100-2300hrs

Job Duties:

Tactical Security: Control access to the site and re-direct vagrants away from the client site. Foot patrols in the maintenance areas, hallways, offices, and check all doors to ensure they are secure. Deter all trespassers from the site and de-escalate as much as possible. Remove all trespassers within scope of Use of Force training. Emergency response for medical issues.

Concierge: Greet residents and control access to the condominium, notify tactical security of any unwanted individuals or trespassers on the property via CCTV. Respond to noise complaints, leaks, elevator failures, accept parcels on behalf of residents, book party rooms for residents.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following prior to an interview:

• Valid Ontario Security Licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Valid Use of Force Certificate (Tactical Security Only)
• Candidates for tactical security must have 2-3+ years of security experience in a tactical or high profile security role.
• Concierge must have 1-2 years of condominium security experience.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.

Nice to have:

• VIP protection is considered a strong asset.
• Military experience is considered an asset.
