Supervisor, Inventory Control
Main Responsibilities
•Establish and provide overall leadership to inventory control and coordination
- Lead team of inventory auditors for spot, bi-weekly, monthly cycle counts
- Lead annual inventory count, assigning roles & responsibilities, managing collection and input of data and reconciliation on variances
- Encourage and engage in continuous improvement exercises including bin location, FIFO, monitoring and disposal of obsolete inventory
- Monitor and oversee inventory accuracy matching physical and electronic warehouse locations
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Quality and Logistics in all inventory related matters
- Contribute to development, communication, monitoring and reporting of KPI’s: - Inventory Accuracy- 100% On Time Cycle Counting
- Work with ERP Software ( Infor Visual ) in executing inventory transactions
- Actively involved in all matters relating to company Health & Safety policies
- Active member in company culture initiatives and programs
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments as required in striving for overall company objectives
- Report inventory metrics, progress on initiatives and KPIs to finance and leadership team at end of each financial period
Requirements
- Strong leader, by example, ideally with experience in warehousing and inventory control
- Forklift certification preferred
- Familiar with ERP software, Microsoft 365
- Experience with Power BI considered and asset but not required
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excel in organizing and prioritizing planned and unplanned assignments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
