Position Summary: The Strategic Partner Outreach Manager – Northern Ontario provides leadership and visibility for Career Find Inc. by establishing and maintaining relationships with key delivery organizations within the employment and training services sector, community partners, and employers in Northern Ontario. The Strategic Partner Outreach Manager – Northern Ontario also builds strong and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provides regular updates to senior management on strategic deliverables.

  • Location & Requirements: This opportunity is structured as a hybrid-remote position, including on-site work and travel within Northern Ontario, as well as remote, work-from-home functions.The successful candidate must possess a valid Ontario G driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle in order to perform essential functions that require travel to urban and rural communities in Northern Ontario (e.g., Nipissing, Parry Sound, Manitoulin, Timiskaming, Sudbury, Algoma, Cochrane, Thunder Bay, Rainy River and Kenora). The hybrid-remote schedule is based on operational needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops effective relationships with employment services providers in Northern Ontario.
  • Works closely with service providers in Northern Ontario to gain a clear understanding of their service delivery strengths.
  • Develops key employer partnerships with an emphasis on future requirements of the labour market.
  • Monitors economic and employment news, trends, and feedback, and provides strategic advice and recommendations on relevant strategies.
  • Identifies social, community, and economic initiatives.
  • Coordinates activities to align with the company’s growth strategy wherever possible.
  • Additional duties as may be reasonably required, commensurate with scope of position.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Post-secondarydegree in business or a related field that is relevant to the scope of the position is highly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Highly skilled in relationship development. A minimum of two years’ experience in developing effective B2B, community and or government relationships showcasing persuasive communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills. Bilingualism in French considered an essential asset for this opportunity.
  • Understanding of Northern Ontario’s market opportunities and employment services, education, and skills development organizations.
  • Strong planning, coordination and analytical skills, with a proven track record of successfully executing projects and growth initiatives.
  • Skilled at identifying opportunities, issues and solutions.
  • Solid technical, business, and project management knowledge.
  • Excellent collaborative leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong degree of integrity and good judgment.
  • Willing to take ownership for the outcomes of projects within scope of responsibility.
  • Experience operating in a multi-stakeholder environment considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the value of diversity, equity and inclusion, with a professional and courteous approach to stakeholders that are comprised of a diverse population.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Zoom, and Outlook applications. Must possess aptitude and willingness to learn and work with new online systems and technologies.
