The Centralize SQL Developer & Support Application will be responsible for operational support, related to the production support and the support regarding the development team. He/she will be involved in problem solving and will also participate in the internal processes (code validation, automated deployments, DevOps etc.) The candidate will also collaborate closely with the analysts, architect, and development team. We are looking for someone who is resourceful and be able to work on multiple projects and multitask.

  Support Production (Monitoring, Deployment)
  
• Development (ETL…) and debugging (Fix and investigate)
  
• Managing the databases (Backup and Restore)
  
• Participate in the improvement and at the automatization of the internal processes as well as the development tools
  
• Ensure realistic estimation regarding the tasks (inclusions and exclusions that needs to be taken into consideration) and to have the capacity to explain discrepancies as well as options for dealing with those discrepancies
  
• Collaborate with a team composed of software developers, architects, analysts, project managers and quality assurance specialists
  
• Provide inputs and contribute to decisions-making
  
• Develop high-quality coding while respecting our best practices
  
• Actively participate in the code review process as well as providing constructive feedback
  
• Contribute to the internal technical documentation
  
• Ensure the overall quality of the software and its evolution

MUST-HAVES

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined with 5 years of relevant experience
  
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development
  
• Versatile, resourceful, and autonomous
  
• Knowledge in our technologies (see above)
  
• Knowledge of (speaking and writing) English & French
  
• Ability to communicate, write as well as synthesize information
  
• Have the capacity to analyze and problem solving
  
• Strong sense of organization and prioritizing
  
• Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
  
• Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor and discipline
