Spray Finisher - Cabinetry Job at Nick Day Design
We are a custom woodshop specializing in residential cabinetry and furniture. Seeking an experienced Wood Finisher to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
· Sand, fill and prep wood veneer, MDF and solid wood surfaces for finishing
· Apply finishes including spray lacquer, acrylic, paint, stain and oil
· Surfaces include cabinet doors, drawers, cabinets, etc.
· Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspace
· Touch up finished materials as required for quality control
· Maintain a high level of finish quality
Requirements:
· Previous experience with wood spray finishing
· Knowledge of lacquers, paints and stain products
· Capable of heavy lifting
· Experience in cabinet making is an asset. There is potential for a dual-role based on experience
· Detail and quality oriented. Capable of maintaining a consistent, high level of quality.
· Team player with a good attitude
