We are hiring for both Walkway Snow Removal Crew Members & Crew Leaders

Responsibilities:

• Clearing of snow from walkways and designated areas using snow shovels, snow blowers, & small plow equipment
• dispensing of deicing material to prevent and mitigate ice formation on walkways, manually or through use of spreaders/small tractors
• Keeping clear communication with your supervisor before, during, and after shifts
• Continual monitoring of weather and storms events to prepare for on-call shifts
• Follow all safety safety requirements, including proper winter attire and personal protective equipment
• Completion and follow-through of all training requirements provided through Garden Grove

Requirements:

• A snow fighter attitude
  
• Strong team player
• Availability to work on-call shifts (days/nights/weekends/holidays)
• Intentional and eager to grow to the next level in service and skill expertise
• Endurance and stamina to be outdoors and regularly exposed to varying weather conditions
• Physical demands include snow shoveling, snow blowing and applying ice melting materials
• The ability and willingness to work long hours during peak days
• Must have access to a mobile phone, access to transportation to and from job site
• Valid driver's license may be required for some positions and is considered an asset
