Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Summary
LiveBarn is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our evolving and fast-paced technology team. In this role, you will be focused on developing and maintaining our product website as well as internal tools. We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to adapt and learn LiveBarn's development standards and design practices

LiveBarn is a well-funded start-up company that provides live & on-demand streaming services for multiple sports. Our goal is to provide great services and user experiences to an ever-expanding user base

What will you be doing?

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain fully responsive websites from end to end using today's best standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain front-end applications with Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Maintain and improve our front-end code
• Perform code walkthroughs and testing
• Provide development recommendations of all supported application technologies

What do you need to succeed?

• 6+ years of experience as a frontend software engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
• Previous experience working as a React.js Developer in a professional setting, as part of your daily responsibility for a minimum of 4 years
• Excellent understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Good understanding of adaptive and responsive designs and tools such as MUI or Bootstrap
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
• Open-minded and willing to adapt to existing development standards and structure
• Capacity to manage priorities and deadlines as efficiently as possible
• Capacity to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Open to criticism and feedback
