Senior accountant
Roga Group of companies is looking for a senior accountant. Our head office is in Kamloops and manages administration services for our locations throughout B.C. The operations accountant reports directly to the controller.
The senior accountant supports the CFO, Controller, and management group. Duties include:
· Project accounting and reporting, working closely with the construction and project management group.
· Cost accounting, change management and project forecasting.
· Project invoicing and accounts receivable monitoring.
· Financial statement preparation and review.
· Month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
· Equipment tracking, intercompany invoicing, and equipment analysis.
· Software package implementation and training. Supporting the Roga Group’s strategic goal of implementing automation and digital solutions to our operations.
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in or have recently completed the CPA program. Roga Group employs 4 experienced CPAs to mentor students through the program.
Other experience and skills would be considered an asset:
· Financial statement preparation and analysis.
· Experience in the logging or construction industries.
· Experience with HCSS HeavyJob & Sage 300.
· Cost accounting and project forecasting.

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
