Myvic Property Management currently oversees a diverse portfolio of retail, multifamily, townhouse and single-family projects.

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Security Guard to join our team on a contract basis. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our properties and ensuring the well-being of our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the properties to ensure the safety and security of tenants, guests, and property assets
• Monitor and control access to the properties to prevent unauthorized entry
• Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies or suspicious activities
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
• Maintain a professional demeanor and demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive light
• Ensure that all security equipment and systems are in proper working order and report any defects or issues to management promptly
• Provide assistance and support to tenants, guests and property management staff as needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security guard or related role
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of security systems and protocols
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Must possess a valid security guard license and pass a background check
