Made the Grade Photography (www.madethegrade.ca) is a fairly new entry into the volume photography market in the lower mainland. We've been well received because of our fresh style of photography and lighting setups specifically designed to highlight the youth and energy of our elementary clientele. We provide school administrators and teachers with a smooth, easy and fun picture day experience, and parents with amazing portraiture that stands apart from the school portraiture of yesteryear.

We're looking for an energetic and dependable applicant to help setup and run a photo station at our elementary school picture days.

Duties include:

- Transporting photo gear in and out of elementary schools
- Helping to setup photo station (background, lights, camera)
- Establishing positive interactions with teachers, staff and elementary students
- Photographing elementary students within time limitations (shooting for 40 seconds/student)
- Recognizing common issues with lighting/posing to make adjustments on the fly

A qualified candidate is positive, energetic and outgoing. Strong consideration will be given to those with direct elementary school experience. Training will be provided. Any experience working with children in a positive environment is gold to us, as is being able to facilitate your own transportation to and from our elementary school picture days (Langley, Abbotsford, Burnaby, Surrey). Dependability and trust are absolutely essential in this role.

Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 6-12 per week

Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
