Sales Lead, Canada & Mexico (MUST RESIDE IN CANADA)


The Sales Lead for Canada and Mexico provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization's sales team in those regions. The person in this role is accountable for overall sales performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives for their sales team.


This role will embody Invitae's leadership principles and ensure the Canada and Mexico sales team is led with awareness, courage, vulnerability, curiosity, ownership, passion, execution, and a growth mindset.


What you'll do:

  • Drive revenue and volume by providing the Canadian and Mexico sales teams with strong leadership, with a high degree of accountability, ownership, and execution.

  • Create a high-performing team with strong training programs, clear expectations, regular feedback conversations, and personal accountability at the forefront.

  • Establish and prioritize critical success metrics for the sales team; conduct regular business reviews, ensure sales trends align with business goals, support leaders with blockers/barriers to success, and cultivate a team above individual mindset.

  • Serve as a conduit to the operations, product, and marketing teams for customer and prospect feedback to ensure continuous, rapid improvement of Invitae's offerings and services.

  • Maintain a high level of Invitae's products and market knowledge of Canadian and Mexico Healthcare systems and maintain all activities related to the creation and implementation of divisional business plans.


What you bring:

  • A passion for sales leadership with a high degree of accountability and integrity.

  • Proven track record of delivering sales results and growing business in the diagnostic/genetic industry.

  • Desire to create a high performance sales culture using data to inform strategic decisions and drive success.

  • 7+ years of healthcare senior sales experience and substantial experience building relationships and selling complex, value driven solutions to a variety of healthcare stakeholders including into the C-Suite, across Health Systems and Clinic settings.

  • 3+ years' experience leading high performing teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sciences or related field

  • Knowledge of the Mexico and/or Canada healthcare systems

  • Language: English with French and/or Spanish preferred

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. USA National Pay Range

$120,600—$156,700 USD
