Principal Developments Limited - Property Maintenance Technician
Our family owned and operated business is located in Halifax and is excited to add a member to our growing team.
A successful candidate will be expected to travel within an approximately 5 KM radius as our company's on call service technician expected to be proficient in performing the following tasks:
- Helping to get apartment units ready for move in / move out
- Fulfilling tenant service requests
- Painting
- Cleaning
- Light drywall work
- General use of basic power and hand tools (drills, saws etc) Having your own tools is a asset.
- Minor plumbing (toilets, zone valves,faucets,cartridges, etc)
- Minor electrical (light fixtures, plugs,switches, breakers, etc)
- Lawn mowing / Basic Snow Removal
- Must own your own car and have a valid drivers licence.
Compensation package includes:
- Mobile device
- Bi-weekly allowance/pay
- Bi-weekly gas allowance
- Housing allowance (at company owned properties)
- Yearly compensation review / bonus
- Standard Hours of Monday-Friday 9 AM to 5 AM. Weekends when required (special circumstances only) and 24 Hour Emergency Service.
A clean criminal background check will be required of any successful applicant.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
