We are currently in search of candidates who are career focused as a Project Sales Support person for our Winnipeg, MB location. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, career focused and works well in a team or as an individual. We are looking for people who are driven, goal minded and customer friendly.

Our expectations:

• Provide technical lighting to support to sales team
• Prepare project quotations and assist with specification packages and layouts
• Secure and monitor best price from vendors for multi-project business
• Communicate and exchange information regarding product arrivals and product updates with the customers
• Coordinate the delivery of customer orders by scheduling delivery of products in the order they are required and doing daily check ins with warehouse on the delivery status of the orders
• Assist the Project Sales team and purchasing to resolve issues stemming from damaged, defective and returned goods from customers
• Request RGA’s from vendors
• Monitor the trouble queue and trouble shoot when customers call in
• Assist homeowners, interior designers and builders with planning and product selection via the phone, email and in the showroom

Requirements:

• ability to multitask and has a strong aptitude for learning

• organization and attention to detail
• computer skills to effectively work with sales and inventory software, email and word processing

Lighting industry experience is preferred, not required. Training to become an ALA Lighting Specialist is provided.
