Overview:
The
Production Loader Operator will inspect, maintain, and operate loader. In this role you will also maintain operations of the pit on a day to day basis. You will report to the Plant Foreman and work co-operatively with all Greater Calgary personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment
- Responsible for completing daily equipment checklist
- Monitor material production within specifications
- Ensure consistent feed to maintain a quality product
- Create an atmosphere of teamwork
- Seek out and implement Best Practices
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Communicate information with Plant Operator
- Communicate loading procedures with truck drivers
- Ensure safety goals are achieved
- Experience with heavy machinery/equipment. Previous loader experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and leadership skills and works well in a team environment
